Situated in the Reservoir region, the Edwardes Street Family Clinic is a medical centre that offers patients comprehensive healthcare through quality family medicine.
Our family clinic is a fully accredited practice owned and operated by local General Practitioners.
All of our doctors are experienced in a broad range of General Practice and the treatment of all age groups, to cater for each and every family.
We believe in honest, reliable care for all aspects of your health and strive to maintain a thorough approach for your benefit and convenience. Our team provides a range of medical and health services such as pathology, speech pathology, podiatry, general medicine and much more in a centralised medical centre that can cater to all the needs of you and your family.
The medical team at Edwardes Street Family Clinic aims to provide comprehensive and thorough medical care to families. We endeavour to keep up to date with the latest medical innovations to bring an efficient and effective medical service to and your family.
New Patient Fee:
As of March 1st, 2023, patients that are new to the clinic or have not had a consultation for 5 years or more will be charged a one-time fee for the first appointment.
If you hold a concession card, the first appointment fee will be $70 on weekdays and $75 on Saturday. If you do not hold a concession card, the first appointment fee will be $75 on weekdays and $80 on Saturdays.
The fee can be rebated by Medicare, where you will receive $41.40 back if a claim is made.
Private Billing:
We accept Allianz OSHC and OVHC card holders. Appointments will have no gap payment associated.
A standard consultation fee of $50 will apply for all patients without a Medicare card or Allianz insurance. If required, a long consultation fee of $70 will apply instead of the standard consultation fee.

Family Planning & Pap Smears
Family planning allows individuals and couples to anticipate and attain their desired number of children and the spacing and timing of their births. It is achieved through use of contraceptive methods and the treatment of involuntary infertility.

To perform a pregnancy test, blood is drawn from the patient's arm, which is sent to a lab for testing. The results of most pregnancy tests take at least a couple of days. The laboratory then advises the doctor of the result. Here at ESFC, our doctors have profound experience in family planning, and will provide guidance for your family's wellbeing.

Our podiatrists are recognised as important members of the health care team in preventing and managing lower limb complications for those living with diabetes. They diagnose and treat both common and more rare skin and nail pathologies of the feet, maintain the mobility of many elderly and disabled people, and others. This achieved through the ongoing monitoring of foot health, in particular of those with circulation problems and diabetes.
At Edwardes Street Family Clinic, we provide our patients with an on-site pathology collection centre to allow them to have a convenient experience at our clinic. If a patient requires a pathology collection ie. blood test after their consultation, we can organise your blood test on the spot, so you don't have to inconvenience yourself in any way.
